Glen Scarlett has been appointed as the new Commercial Director for Pernod Ricard Australia after almost a decade with the business in a variety of roles.
Kevin Mapson, Commercial Managing Director Pacific, said, “As an experienced leader with a proven track record of strong growth and excellent strategic skill set, Glen is well positioned to represent all aspects of our commercial business as we continue to work closely with our customers and bring our iconic brands to life in the Australian market.”
During his time with Pernod Ricard, Scarlett has worked as National Account Manager, National Business Manager and, most recently, Head of National Key Accounts, Australia.
He said :”After nine years with Pernod Ricard I am remarkably proud to represent the business, our people and our brands as the new Commercial Director for Pernod Ricard Australia. I’m excited to lead our highly talented and experienced team and look forward to working closely with all our trade partners.”
Scarlett will also join the Drinks Association Board representing Pernod Ricard.
His highly esteemed colleague Jeff McKenzie has been with Pernod Ricard since 2006. McKenzie has been employed as Commercial Director since 2016 and will finish with Pernod Ricard on October 21. As he leaves the world of wine and spirits for the world of chocolate at Lindt & Spuengli, the Drinks Association wishes him well.
Pernod Ricard Australia is a Category One member of the Drinks Association.
