Nielsen social media ad monitoring now includes TikTok

The Nielsen Brand Ad Watch Portfolio is a great tool for marketing teams, featuring the ability to search, view and analyse all Above the Line alcohol advertising creative, activity and spend across all categories, including your competitors. The database also provides simple report generation with an option to tailor make your own dashboards and presentations.

Nielsen have expanded their social monitoring coverage with the introduction of TikTok and will include estimated ad spend, impressions and creatives across all Drinks categories. This expanded coverage can now be accessed from the Drinks Association Adwatch Brand Site.

TikTok is a popular social media platform with a large user base of young adults, it has become an important marketing tool for brands to reach these consumers who are increasingly using social media to connect with brands and make purchasing decisions.

Please note that at launch TikTok data will be assigned to a non-granular, corporate level product and category only. This will only be temporary, and we are expecting enhancements to the service in the coming months that will enable us to use granular products and categories.
