The National Credit Manager Forum was held in Melbourne on Wednesday, February 12 - hosted by Asahi Premium Beverages and attended by 14 Drinks Association member companies.
Team members from the Coles Liquor Finance and Payables team presented to the group on the flow and timings of Coles invoice processing (paper and electronic), including how suppliers can speed up the process of payments through the adoption of the EDI process for invoices.
The presenters also detailed the role of the Coles Payables function, including Accounts Investigation and Query Submission process, while Coles partner, Early Trade, gave a demonstration of the new Supplier Portal, soon to be launched.
Members of the National Credit Manager Forum noted they were keen for the ‘go live’ date on the portal, which is expected in the next couple of months.
Special guests in attendance at the forum were:
Chris Tabois – General Manager, Liquor Finance
Dean Cole – Service Delivery Manager
Isuru Dewage – Liquor Payables Team Coodinator
Nikita Shetye – Senior Accounts Investigation Specialist
Guy Saxelby - CEO, Early Trade
