BevChain grows stronger with new property investments

Leading beverage distribution specialist, BevChain, a wholly owned subsidiary of Linfox, has announced extensive growth plans with new property investments to support customers, in line with Linfox’s Leading the Way 2025 business strategy.

Along with record investments in new systems, technology and modern fleet, BevChain is growing its property footprint with two new logistics facilities in Western Australia and Victoria.

At approximately 35,000 sqm, the construction of a BevChain facility in Maddington will support market growth in Western Australia. The state-of-the-art warehouse design will allow the business to consolidate BevChain’s current Canning Vale and Kewdale operations into one site, with the addition of temperature-controlled storage. The new Maddington warehouse is set to be fully operational by April 2023.

In October 2023, the opening of a BevChain facility in Laverton will replace the existing Somerton site. Standing at 70,000 sqm, the facility will be significantly larger than existing operations. Strategically positioned for supply to major customers, the facility will feature cutting edge technology, temperature-controlled storage, and space for new market growth.

Both sites will have the latest 5 Star Green Star Rating Design & As built accreditation, in accordance with Linfox’s commitment to act sustainably. Environmental credentials include solar generation, battery storage and electric vehicle charging, supporting BevChain’s current trial of electric vehicles for major customers, Asahi Beverages and Lion.

This significant investment supports Linfox’s exciting growth plans and reflects its commitment in the BevChain business.

BevChain is a Corporate Partner of the Drinks Association.
