Treasury Wine Estates will host the Victorian State Chapter of the Embrace Difference event with a breakfast at its offices on Thursday, 21 July starting at 7.30am.
Three panelists will speak at the the in-person presentation, Understanding Difference, exploring gender, diversity and inclusion with a view to educate, inspire and support members of the Drinks Association. They will share their stories and address themes including unconscious bias, psychological safety and the importance of diversity and inclusion, and how they serve to improve workplace culture.
Treasury Wine Estates' Rachel Wolfe will facilitate the presentation and the panelists for the event are:
Paige Heibach – Engagement Project Coordinator – Primary Care Connect: As an openly out transwoman, Ms Heibach knows first-hand the prejudice, unconscious bias and discrimination that many LGBTIQ+ people face on a day-to-day basis and within the workforce.
Michael Perry - Global ERP Manager and TWE Enable Lead – Treasury Wine Estates: Mr Perry established and now leads TWE’s new disability and accessibility employee resource group, TWE Enable. As someone living with a disability, he is helping to ensure TWE is a supportive and accessible work environment for everyone, and that disability is not a barrier to full and meaningful participation in the workplace.
Nancy Baghdadi – Global Innovation Director – Accolade Wines: Ms Baghdadi is a member of Accolade’s sustainability committee which is anchored in driving change for people, product, and the planet.
