An industry leader, Mr Donohue will present on the future of liquor retail, including the role of technology and innovation in meeting the rapidly changing demands of consumers, compare the online shopping experience with the in-store visit, and examine what the drinks industry needs to consider for future success.
He will also discuss the importance of Endeavour's sustainability agenda with a particular focus on industry-wide investment in promoting the responsible consumption of alcohol in Australia.
Mr Donohue has held a broad range of roles in the Endeavour Group since commencing as a store manager at Dan Murphy’s in 1994. He has been Group Managing Director since the formation of Endeavour Group in 2019, and prior to this, was Managing Director of Endeavour Drinks. He played an integral role in the merger of Endeavour Drinks with ALH Group in July 2019 to create the Endeavour Group, followed by the demerger between Endeavour Group and Woolworths Group in June 2021, and the subsequent listing of the Endeavour Group on the ASX as a standalone entity.
