We are excited to share that we’ve recently launched a Shelf Price Monitoring Solution, with pricing from Dan Murphy’s and BWS, with Vintage Cellars, Liquorland, and First Choice to launch in early December 2023, delivered via our Price Intel Platform.
The combination of Promoted Price and Shelf Price data analysis from major retailers enables suppliers to stay competitive, make informed pricing decisions, align with market trends, and optimise margins. It ultimately helps suppliers maintain a strong presence in the market and drive sales growth.
Nielsen has developed a new industry dashboard for Drinks Association Members - a web-based visual analytics platform - enabling deeper interrogation of the daily ad count and price point data collection. This new tool allows users to view, analyse & benchmark the landscape across a wide array of dimensions and product segments, unlocking key market trends at your fingertips.
Data Delivery & Reporting
Reporting of shelf pricing for each retail banner will be made available within the new enhanced Drinks Industry dashboard ‘Price Intel’ each Friday afternoon.
Users will be able to run reports with both promoted and shelf price points using the same search parameters built into the Price Intel dashboard including the following search tools: customised date range, product, advertiser, category, banner, prices, ad counts, MAT & Market Benchmarking
Promoted Price data via the Price Intel platform is included as part of the Drinks Association Category One Membership, and through this same platform, we are able to offer significant discounts to members who sign up to receive the Shelf Price data. This service is also available to those who subscribe to the Price Intel platform.
Drinks Association members are eligible to receive a discount for multiple categories and the early bird sign-on discount.
