GS1 have partnered with Trading Partner Forum to produce a series of videos intended to support suppliers and retailers in their efforts to align product master data across all systems, with all trading partners.
A joint initiative by industry for industry, the Improving supply chain product master data integrity alignment videos outline a range of industry guidelines including The Supply Chain Master Data Integrity and Alignment Guide and The Common Delivery Guidelines to help all trading partners improve:
• Visibility of data points and status
• Accountability for data integrity and
• Accuracy of shared data and alignment
It is hoped that the videos will contribute to improving data accuracy and misalignment between systems. These guidelines are available on the Australian Food and Grocery Council website.
The five short videos provide an overview of the following product master data points:
• Shipper/Inner/Shelf-ready packaging dimensions
• Shipper/Inner/Shelf-ready packaging weight
• Pallet TiHi
• Pallet height; and
• Pallet weight
