BevChain, a wholly owned subsidiary of Linfox, is leading the way towards a fully digitised supply chain, with the launch of the Digital Freight Network (DFN).
BevChain’s DFN will unify the freight management process for BevChain and its customers, managing orders from start to finish. The fully-integrated DFN solution will enable customers to monitor their freight movements via a self-service customer portal with the benefits of enhanced visibility throughout the journey, including real-time tracking on metropolitan deliveries.
To support this transition, BevChain is shifting to a centralised transport structure in 2022-23. This structural change will move transport management focus to a network-based approach, with a key focus area being to unlock further freight opportunities.
“The Digital Freight Network puts BevChain at the cutting edge of supply chain technology, improving processes for our customers and our team members,” said BevChain President Misha Shliapnikoff.
“This is an integral part of our Leading the Way 2025 business strategy, enabling us to work smarter and grow stronger as we strive to become Australia and New Zealand’s most trusted beverage logistics partner.”
The DFN is the latest in several exciting announcements from BevChain, following its recent property investment in two new state-of-the-art warehouses under construction in Victoria and Western Australia.
The BevChain Erskine Park, NSW warehouse will go live with the DFN in July 2022, before expanding throughout the national network over the next 12 months.
BevChain is a Corporate Partner of the Drinks Association.
