BevChain’s impressive new 35,000 square-metre beverages distribution centre in Maddington, WA was officially opened by Linfox President BevChain Misha Shliapnikoff in late 2023.
This continues Linfox and BevChain’s important work growing a sustainable national logistics network in key locations for its customers, supported by quality buildings and modern fleet.
With the beverage market continuing to experience growth, the new BevChain site houses many well-known beverage brands across beer, wine, spirits, ready-to-drink and non-alcoholic drink categories.
“Our new distribution centre provides much needed additional ambient and temperature-controlled capacity, with the highest level of security for people, products and equipment,” said Shliapnikoff.
“It positions BevChain for future growth in the west, conveniently near our customers, transportation hubs and routes,” said Misha. “With this state-of-the-art facility, backed by modern, dedicated fleet and equipment, our valued customers can be assured of supply chain flexibility, consistency and continuity.”
The safe, environmentally-friendly facility was designed and built to achieve 5 Star Green Star certification from the Green Building Council of Australia in accordance with Linfox’s commitment to act sustainably. Environmental credentials include solar generation, electric vehicle charging capability, rainwater harvesting, and smart LED lighting.
Importantly, all new Linfox and BevChain sites and the equipment that supports them are designed, built and managed with safety, wellbeing and compliance top of mind.
