Host Shelly Horton returns to host the tenth annual Australian Drinks Awards at the Ivy Ballroom in Sydney on Thursday, 28 July.
The premier event on the Australian drinks calendar for honouring achievement and innovation, Drinks Association CEO, Georgia Lennon said, “We cannot wait to get together, return to our usual programming and with a glass or two, toast all of the achievements from the past year. International Women's Day was a great success and we know that the Australian Drinks Awards will be just the same, if not more so, with 370 guests set to attend our Sydney celebration."
The awards are grouped into three categories: Contribution to Industry Awards, Brand Awards and Supplier Awards with 43 awards to be presented on the night.
The top 200 drink brands in the country are automatically entered into the Fan Favourite and Gaining in Popularity awards with Thrive Research once again enlisted to conduct the consumer research to determine the winners.
In the Supplier category, Supplier of the Year, Most Improved Supplier, Category Management and Supply Chain Management Awards will be determined by the results of the Advantage Engagement Program and there will also be three Contribution to Industry awards - Most Improved Gender Equity Award, Inclusive & Diverse Workplace Award and the Corporate Social Responsibility Award.
Submissions for two of the Contribution to Industry Awards, Corporate Social Responsibility and Inclusive and Diverse Workplace, are welcomed from members of the Drinks Association. The Most Improved Gender Equity Award will once again take data from the Industry Scorecard to identify the top three member performers in the area of Gender Equity. These three members will be invited to submit against relevant criteria.
