NETWORK BREAKFAST: CGA by NielsenIQ's latest consumer insights from the Australian On Premise sector

At the Drinks Association's upcoming Network Breakfast, CGA by NielsenIQ's Scott Elliott and James Phillips will delve into what Australia can learn from the recovery of On Premise markets around the world.

Following the unprecedented challenges of the past two years, change has been forced upon the On Premise channel from supply to how consumers now interact with the channel and the way in which decisions are made in venue.

Incorporating the latest insights from 24 of the most important On Premise markets around the world, CGA experts will contextualize essential trends against brand new insights and research specifically tailored to the Australian On Premise sector.

This session will also highlight the first ever view of sales trends from CGA’s BeverageTrak service which tracks transaction sales data for thousands of bars and restaurants across Australia.

Mr Elliott says, “As a global business, CGA have the benefit of analysing the post-pandemic recovery of the sector across multiple regions along with up-to-the-minute research on consumer intentions and motivations. It’s clear that operators and suppliers alike need clear and actionable insights, and we’re pleased to deliver what the Australian hospitality industry needs to help the On Premise to thrive,” he says.

Focused on actionable takeaway learnings, this breakfast is essential for any suppliers focused on growth in this channel for the year ahead.

CGA by NielsenIQ signed a partnership with the Drinks Association in August, intended to capture, preserve and shape the future of the On Premise experience in Australia as well as providing valued services and insights to the Australian drinks industry.

Tickets are now on sale for the breakfast at the Kirribilli Club at 7.30am on Thursday, 27 October.

CGA by NielsenIQ is a Corporate Partner of the Drinks Association.
