We're thrilled to announce the launch of The Cocktail Insights Report, a collaboration between leading on-premise measurement research and insight company CGA by NielsenIQ and the Drinks Association. This report aims to unlock the tremendous potential of cocktail consumption in the Australian on-premise market.

Recent CGA by NIQ research revealed that around one-in-three Australian consumers indulge in cocktails when they visit an on-premise establishment, while one-in-two cocktail drinkers opt for cocktails every time they go out.

Clearly, the significance of cocktails in the on-premise channel cannot be underestimated.

Recognising the opportunity associated with on-premise cocktails, the Cocktails Insights Report will delve into the market size of on-premise cocktail consumption and the demographic profile and behaviours of cocktail drinkers, providing brands, suppliers and operators with invaluable insights and strategies to tap into this growing area of demand.

Report methodology - OPUS (On-Premise User Study)
OPUS is a consumer survey of nationally representative on-premise consumers surveyed online twice a year about their out-of-home experience and usage (Australian sample size = 8,000 per year). By understanding the ever-changing relationship between consumers, brands, categories and channels, OPUS enables insight-driven decisions to help sales conversations, national account teams, and brand and marketing teams drive sales and grow share.
