The Drinks Association, together with Serendis Leadership, is delighted to launch the 2020 Drinks Inclusive Leadership Program.
The program, which will commence in May 2020, is now in its fourth year.
More than 100 people from across the drinks sector have participated in the program to date. The 2019, the program attracted 40 participants, from Australian Vintage, ALM, Bacardi-Martini, Brown-Forman, Campari, Coca-Cola Amatil, Casella, Diageo, Lion, Moet Hennessy, Pernod Ricard and Taylors.
After successfully extending the program to include men for the first time in 2019, the program will continue to welcome both male and female mentees this year.
"The program has achieved fantastic results in supporting participants career progression and in building a culture of inclusion across the sector," said Drinks Association CEO Georgia Lennon. "It remains in high demand and we are pleased so many member organisations will participate again this year."
Serendis Leadership Director Bianca Havas (pictured above, middle) added: "We continue to see the positive impact this program has for individuals to progress their careers and shift the leadership culture of the sector to become more inclusive.
"Our participants continue to report the deep impact that the program has on them at both a personal and organisational level and that it has fundamentally changed the way they lead."
The feedback from participants has been equally encouraging.
“Excellent, game changer for me! Genuine change and development in my presentation and confidence," noted one 2019 mentee.
"I have been on a couple of mentoring programs, but this by far was the most professional and well-run program I have had the privilege to be a part of,” added a 2019 mentor.
By facilitating successful mentoring relationships between high-calibre professionals and senior leaders, the program continues to support the development of individuals who have already made significant progress in their careers and are looking to progress to leadership roles, while also engaging current senior leaders in the industry in the importance of inclusive leadership.
The 2020 Inclusive Leadership Program runs from May until the end of October, during which time participants attend two events and five workshops, facilitated by Serendis and hosted by participating organisations.
In addition to these formal group sessions, participants meet with their mentee/mentor approximately six to eight times during the program.
The formal sessions facilitated by Serendis provide career, leadership and mentoring development frameworks to drive the mentoring conversations and broader skill development.
Confirmation of participation in the program is required this week, with confirmation of participants due by March 27, 2020 Please email info@drinks.asn.au if you have any further queries or require a booking form.
