Marketing to the LGBTQIA+ community has evolved significantly over the years, from formulaic clichés to an approach that sees LGBTQIA+ characters and themes integrated into mainstream campaigns.

Despite the dramatic evolution and increased representation, brands still often target the LGBTQIA+ community, specifically during certain holidays and celebrations.

During this Pride in Drinks webinar, Allan Dib (he/him), Head of Insights and Foresight at Lion, will facilitate a panel discussion with Santosh Murthy (he/him), Managing Director at Identity Communications, and Polly Parker (she/her), Co-founder of They Connect.

The panel will explore the pros and cons of marketing to the LGBTQIA+ community, discussing what constitutes respectful and effective marketing, the potential pitfalls and the barriers to getting it right.
