Respect in Drinks

LAUNCHING SOON

We recognise the inherent value of each person, upholding everyone’s right to dignity, equality, and fair treatment, and are committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming drinks industry with zero tolerance for discrimination, bullying, or harassment.

Drinks Association members are being asked to commit to providing an environment where diverse talent is attracted to work, where they will be respected and can thrive.

By becoming a signatory of the Respect in Drinks pledge, they are demonstrating a proactive stance in promoting positive change within our industry. To create this environment, they have committed to being intentionally explicit about what employees, customers, partners, and suppliers can expect from their team members and expect the same from those they interact with.

CEO PLEDGE

What we expect of ourselves, our customers, partners and suppliers.

  • We set clear expectations with regards to professional behaviour and conduct.
  • We have zero-tolerance for direct or indirect discriminatory behaviours, bullying, harassment or non-adherence to local laws and legislation.
  • We provide an environment where everyone feels safe and respected.
  • We work together to encourage the responsible consumption of alcohol.

We will enable anyone to report breaches of this commitment by providing contact details for reporting occurrences through each organisations dedicated reporting method.

The Drinks Association supports and encourages compliance by its members with the ‘Respect in Drinks Charter’ but makes no representations, expressly or by inference, in relation to the conduct of our members or their compliance with the Charter. The only representation made by the Association is that our member has signed the Charter. Any complaint or claim arising from any alleged breach of the Charter must be made directly to the member organisation.
